Hello! My name is Alicia, some people also call me Ally. I live in the region of Ostrobothnia in Finland. After episodes of mental disorders, I decided to follow my heart and to pursue a new career as a visual artist; hence, I am currently studying fine arts at Novia University of Applied Sciences in Jakobstad. I work mainly with digital photography whereby I express my personal struggles in an artistic way. I like to experiment with different techniques, for example, inversion and overlay as well as combinations of photography, painting and drawing. Examples of my artworks can be found in the gallery.

However, I also have legal expertise and a master’s degree in law from the University of Helsinki, Vaasa Unit of Legal Studies, where I am currently conducting doctoral studies. I am specialised in Nordic intellectual property law, and my research concerns artistic freedom in relation to copyright law. I have run my own business since 2018 providing mainly case-law analysis, data search, data quality verification, legal translation, proofreading and editing services.
